The tournament presented a challenging 6-month turnaround after being transferred by FIFA from Peru to Brazil. The decision to operate the 52-match, 24-team competition in smaller stadiums outside the largest cities became an opportunity for us to develop quality overlay solutions at lower cost. We led the consortium that won the rights to deliver the entire overlay for all 4 stadiums within that tight timeframe.
The temporary structures were delivered successfully, with cost-effective solutions and careful attention to legacy infrastructure, managed through a detailed handover and hand-back process.
